I'm outlining my draft for my Borgen/Agents of SHIELD crossover fanfic. And if you haven't watched Borgen, why not? It's one of the best tv shows ever written. And probably the most feminist show I have ever watched.

When did cookie cutter fansites become a thing? Professional looking websites set up purely to get ad revenue and Amazon referrals. What happened to the days of "I'm setting up that site cause I like the show or a character". Loss of innocence, I tell you.

AngelicSlayer.com now seems to be offline, I guess that's the end of an era for the Buffy fandom.

One of the joys of running Whedonesque is the increasing number of PR emails we receive. Here's a sample beneath the cut.

Dare you?Collapse )

Ian Hart is going to be in Agents of SHIELD. This is the best casting news I've read in ages.

I'd also like to thank LJ for making it impossible for posting from a web browser.

Not one mention of Fandom March Madness voting on my flist. Not one. What happened? Previous years everyone was excited about it.

So that was nice. Dublin is not glamorous for a red carpet event but it was fun to say hi. Also met Whedonesque's site owner Caroline for the first time ever. Which was very cool indeed. And Much Ado is very good indeed. Lots of visual humour (best comedy moments Joss had done to date)  and Alexis and Amy shine through out (there's an amazing powerful scene which tops anything they did on Angel). Everyone  brings their game to the table, Clark Gregg especially. And who knew Shakespeare covered slut shaming? Everyone probably apart from me, but it made me think so I can take that from the movie.

Basically the movie features all your favourite Mutant Enemy writers and actors and they're all having loads of fun. It's like Oceans 12 except good.
